Slainte
Breeding Options (Gypsy Cobs/Vanners)
The
following breeds will be accepted for breeding
and registration purposes.
Gypsy
Cob/Vanner - Any registered Gypsy Cob/Vanner
mare may be bred to Slainte to produce a registered
foal with either the GCDHA or the GVHS.
Shire/Clyde/Friesian
- A full blooded Shire/Clyde/Friesian
bred to Slainte will produce an eligible Drum
Horse. (Please see Breed
Standard for details)
Thoughbred/Warmblood/Sport
Horse- The offspring
will be eligible for crossbred registration. This
cross will produce a Sport horse type.
Non-Feathered
Draft Horse - The offspring will be eligible
for crossbred registration.

Guinness Breeding Options (Drum
Horses)
Registered
Drum Horse - Offspring will be eligible
for Drum Horse registration. (Please see Breed
Standard for details)
Gypsy
Cob - A registered Gypsy Cob mare may
be bred to Guinness to produce a registered Drum
Horse foal with the GCDHA.
Shire/Clyde/Friesian
- A full blooded Shire/Clyde/Friesian
bred to Guinness will produce an eligible Breeding
Stock Drum Horse. (Please see Breed
Standard for details)
Thoughbred/Warmblood/Sport
Horse- The offspring
